EA FC 24 fans are hitting out at EA SPORTS calling them “shameless” for charging players for ‘loyalty’ Ultimate Team packs.

EA has had a bit of a disastrous start to the year with EA FC 24, with players growing increasingly frustrated with the devs. Recently, fans have lashed out at the developers after “trolling half the community” by accidentally giving a free TOTY Lionel Messi through a glitched SBC.

Despite the devs acting quickly and removing the SBC, some have gone as far as to say that the game is completely “ruined” as a result of the bug, with tons of players now having one of the best-rated cards.

Nevertheless, the devs are under fire once again, this time with the community lashing out for ‘shamelessly’ charging for “loyalty” packs.

EA FC 24 players furious with “shameless” devs over loyalty packs

On February 12, the EA devs revealed the new “Packs For You” section in the Ultimate Store, which contains depending on each player’s game activity.

However, EA charges players to open these “loyalty” packs, which used to be free in past FIFA titles, leading many to hit out at the devs.

“Shameless,” a player simply replied. “This is not the way. Painfully out of touch,” said another.

“These used to be free,” one explained. “Maybe just maybe MAKE THEM FREE FOR OUR LOYALTY,” a player hit out. “This is so far out of touch with the community, do better,” another added.

Some made note of the devs’ recent mistakes, such as the Messi SBC during the highly-anticipated Team of the Year promo, claiming they’re “owed” some goodwill from EA.

Others urged the devs to fix the game first before trying to sell more packs to players. “Fix your game before trying to sell more packs,” they said.

It isn’t the first time we’ve seen players hit back at EA, particularly with Ultimate Team packs. During the TOTY’s release, players were furious after realizing the drop rates were lowered after the full XI was released.
