Activision Announces a New CoD: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Map Will be Playable at E3

A new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 map will be available for fans to play at E3 following an announcement from Activision regarding their lineup for the convention.

Fans of the Call of Duty franchise have been on the edge of their seats in regards to the upcoming release of Black ops 4 following the ‘Community Reveal Event’ that took place in mid-May, and gave the first look at various aspects of the title.

Community members were provided details on features such as multiplayer, Zombies, and the all-new ‘Blackout’ Battle Royale mode set to launch with the game, however, players are still awaiting more information in the coming months.

Avtivision and Treyarch are set to have a major showing at the annual E3 convention in Los Angeles, California where lucky fans will have a chance to play the game for the first time in a hands-on environment, along with learning more about the game.

On June 7th, it was announced in a press release that a ‘new map’ will debut at E3, although no name has been provided at the time of writing by Activision or Treyarch.

“Hot off the heels of the most-watched game reveal in Call of Duty® history, the title that offers more ways to have fun with your friends than any Call of Duty before, Black Ops 4 comes to E3 to give fans a new hands-on experience with the game’s multiplayer mode, including a new map debuting at the event. Black Ops 4 features grounded combat, along with new levels of customization and tactical gameplay, and a variety of new weaponry, maps and modes for the ultimate Black Ops multiplayer experience.”

Prior to the announcement, only Seaside, Contraband, and Payload have been unveiled as maps in Black Ops 4, yet some believe that the ‘new map’ may potentially be played during the Multiplayer Live Stream on June 7th at 1 PM EST (10 AM PST, 6 PM BST), which can be viewed right here.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center between June 12th and June 14th.
