An Apex Legends player shared a mind-boggling Smoke Launcher shot with Bangalore that hit a target over 200 meters away.

Perhaps one of the most infamous Legend abilities in Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale, Apex Legends, is Bangalore’s Smoke Launcher tactical.

Anyone who’s played Apex Legends will know that Bangalore can use a Smoke Launcher to fire a grenade that explodes and provides cover for teammates and allies alike. However, most Bangalore mains likely just aim the grenade launcher at the ground and call it a day.

That wasn’t the case for one player, who decided to blindly fire the Smoke Launcher into the distance. What’s more, they managed to hit an unsuspecting opponent without even seeing them

The shot in question came from a Reddit user named BeholdSnail, who posted a clip to the Apex Legends subreddit with the title, “Over 200m smoke hit over mountain?!”

In the video, the player is standing on the edge of the large facility in King’s Canyon melded into a cliff face. After observing their surroundings, the Bangalore player loads their Smoke Launcher tactical and aims it off into the distance over a small mountain.

While watching the shot fall out of view over the mountain, a small hitmaker appears showing 10 damage to a White Shield as the character’s view quickly jerks in surprise.

The OP said, “Shocked I even managed this.” They weren’t the only ones, as many fans took to the comments section to express their own surprise at the insanely lucky shot.

Others were amused at how the random Smoke shot must have appeared to the unsuspecting target. “I feel sorry for the person that got hit. I would’ve sh*t myself ngl,” said one player.

Some fans shared their own stories of using Bangalore’s tactical to score unsuspecting hits. “I’ve gotten a knock from almost this distance with smoke, but I could hear the other teams fighting so I had a decent idea of where to shoot it lol. Nice shot.”

While this OP didn’t manage to get a knock with their insane shot, it’s still an impressive feat of luck to hit a blind target at that distance.
