Jujutsu Kaisen fans anticipate show’s most important volume yet

The upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen volume includes the most important chapters so far, and fans couldn’t be more excited about it.

Jujutsu Kaisen took a huge leap in 2023 with the Season 2 debut of the anime and the battle of the strongest in the manga. The anime was a massive hit, surpassing even its previous season. Additionally, according to Oricon, Jujutsu Kaisen ranked third in the highest-earning anime and manga franchises in 2023. 

Satoru Gojo took center stage in both the anime and the manga and became more popular than ever. Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 25 was launched in January 2024, which included Gojo’s return and the commencement of the battle of the strongest.

As the upcoming volume is nearing its release date, Jujutsu Kaisen fans can’t help but feel excited since it will include the most controversial chapter of the series. Warning: Spoilers ahead!

Why is Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 26 important?

Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 26 will be released on April 4, 2024, and will include Chapters 228 to 236. And many fans know what happens in the controversial Chapter 236. Gojo’s death is something that shook the entire fandom, and several netizens continue to hope for his return even now.

Not only that, but the volume will include the fight between Gojo and Sukuna. Additionally, since the series mostly focuses on one character per volume cover, this time, the likelihood of Gojo appearing on the cover has shot through the roof.

Despite the fact that Volume 25 featured Gojo’s return after several years, the volume cover featured Sukuna in Megumi’s body. One character appearing on two consecutive volume covers is unprecedented. Therefore, since the upcoming volume will center around Gojo and Sukuna, the former will likely appear on the cover.

Popular JJK account speculates, “I’m 99% sure that the cover of JJK Volume-26 will be Gojo, but I’ll keep the 1% doubt cuz I can’t fully trust Gege.”

Apart from the best fight of the series and Gojo taking center stage on the cover, JJK fans have every reason to anticipate this upcoming volume. Nonetheless, not everyone can trust Gege Akutami completely.

Additionally, since Gojo’s death happened off-screen, some netizens wonder if Gege will reveal it in the volume. After all, manga volumes often include additional scenes or some corrections.
