Sukuna’s innate cursed technique remains a secret even to this day, but a certain Jujutsu Kaisen fan might have figured it out.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s most powerful villain, Ryomen Sukuna, is someone the Jujutsu world has been fearing since a thousand years ago. During the golden age of Jujutsu sorcery in the Heian era, sorcerers gathered all their might to defeat the King of Curses.

However, Sukuna’s twenty fingers, each containing a fraction of his powers, were scattered over the years and are waiting to be found. It wasn’t until the modern era that Yuji Itadori swallowed one finger in a desperate attempt to save Megumi Fushiguro.

Sukuna is the primary antagonist of the series, and the manga is currently the final battle against him and the sorcerers. However, even now, Jujutsu Kaisen has yet to reveal Sukuna’s innate technique. Nonetheless, one Reddit user may share a speculation about the villain’s technique.

What could be Sukuna’s innate technique in Jujutsu Kaisen?

For a long time, Jujutsu Kaisen made fans believe that Sukuna’s innate technique is only related to slashing and cutting his targets. Even his Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine, is like that. However, he proved in the Shibuya Incident arc just what it means to be the King of Curses as he pulls off a devastating fire technique.

Sukuna chants something before saying “Open” and unlocks his fire abilities. He then uses a Fire Arrow, which far exceeds Jogo’s abilities, who specializes in fire techniques. Sukuna also says that he won’t cheat by revealing his technique since that would increase his power.

Someone with an innate cursed technique can use any number of techniques that are an extension of their primary talent. Hence, his ability to slash and cut his targets, along with Fire Arrow, is nothing more than an extension of his real ability.

However, he never used fire ability again, and his innate technique remains unknown to this day. According to a Reddit thread, Sukuna may be able to use more elements than fire. Although it’s not clearly visible in the anime, the manga specifically draws the ends of Sukuna’s fingers resembling ice, rocks, plants, etc.

Sukuna’s ability to use fire is also thanks to his innate technique, so it wouldn’t be surprising for the King of Curses to have the power to use other elements. Although the series has yet to reveal his secret technique, as the fight is in its final stretch, we might soon find out what innate technique earned him the title of Ryomen Sukuna.
