Megan Thee Stallion showed up to the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in style, with a Gojo cosplay that has Jujutsu Kaisen fans impressed, to put it lightly.

A noted anime fan, Megan Thee Stallion has not been shy about display her love for Japanese animation.

She’s previously cosplayed as characters from My Hero Academia and Sailor Moon, two of the best anime shows you can find.

Now, she’s displayed fandom for another franchise, by adding Jujutsu Kaisen to the mix. One of the big ongoing properties, it’s hardly surprising that Jujutsu Kaisen has some celebrity fans, but most of them probably wouldn’t show as much as love as Megan Thee Stallion is showing.

Megan Thee Stallion arrived at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards dressed up as Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen, spurring a flurry of adoration.

Her costume is all black, as you’d expect, with a crop top instead of Gojo’s signature jacket. Megan wears the blindfold with a white silver wig that gives long flowing locks. She switches to sunglasses in other photos, so she can actually see, and she has a mix of indoor and outdoor pictures. Honestly, it’s a strong look regardless of association with anime or not.

She posted a gallery on Instagram, with the caption “We made it to Japan”, and the response has been positive, to say the least. “Maybe if gojo looked like this he wouldn’t have been sealed in a box,” says one commenter. “Cosplay Meg will forever be my fav,” adds another.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards are due to take place Saturday, March 2, at 01:00 PST/04:00 EST. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is primed to win big, but we’ll see if Megan’s efforts were in vain or not. Either way, we have plenty of suggestions in our list of the strongest ancient sorcerers for more cosplay ideas.
