Japan Airlines grabbed every Jujutsu Kaisen fan’s attention
A TikTok video featuring the attendants and crew members of Japan Airlines took the internet by storm recently with their unique gesture towards Gege Akutami’s brainchild Jujutsu Kaisen. The well-choreographed video showcased the JAL family synchronizing on ‘You are my Special’. It’s the opening theme of the Shibuya Incident arc that is loved by every JJK fan.
It’s not the first time we have seen something like this happening to celebrate the anime industry’s evolution. However, it’s definitely the first time in history that we have witnessed the aviation professionals’ lively involvement in bringing out a theme song from an anime to life. The video caption used several Jujutsu Kaisen tags, making it obvious that the airlines wanted to inform fans that they are JJK supporters.
While some users on X said they loved every bit of the video, some were making fun of it. “Yeah don’t get on that plane,” said a user, “SO SICKKKKKKKK,” added another. Some were also showing concern for the ones in the video by saying, “Do these people know that when that song plays, it only means death and destruction?”
