After seven hard-hitting installments, Reacher Season 2 is about to wrap up – so, when does Episode 8 of the second season drop?

Anticipation for Episode 8 is arguably higher than for any other entry in Reacher’s second season, thanks to Episode 7’s cliffhanger ending.

Here, we see Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) surrender himself to New Age Technologies’ villainous security chief Shane Langston (Robert Patrick), in exchange for the lives of two of his old army buddies.

Will our hulking hero make it out of Langston’s lair alive? You’ll have to tune in to Episode 8 to find out!

Reacher Season 2 Episode 8 release time

As a result, US viewers will see Reacher Season 2’s finale a day earlier than everyone else, except Prime Video subscribers in Brazil (who’ll also have to the episode on January 18, albeit slightly later).

Meanwhile, if you’re based in the UK, Europe, India, or Australia, you’ll have to hold out until Friday, January 19 for the second season’s blockbuster conclusion.

Here’s a full breakdown of Reacher Season 2 Episode 8’s release date and time, by timezone:

Is Reacher Season 3 happening?

While Reacher Season 2 isn’t even finished yet, you’re probably wondering how long you’ll have to wait until Jack Reacher’s next adventure. Fret not: Amazon Studios officially greenlit Season 3 in December 2023, before a single episode of Season 2 had even aired.

There’s currently no word on which Jack Reacher book Season 3 will adapt. Author Lee Child’s original chronology is no help either, as the show doesn’t follow the same timeline as the novels. Season 1 retold the events of Book 1, Killing Floor, whereas Season 2 is modeled on Book 11, Bad Luck and Trouble.

That said, a recent Instagram post by Alan Ritchson has some fans convinced they know which of Child’s tomes inspired the third season. Ritchson shared a mud-caked selfie taken on the Reacher set, sparking speculation Season 3 will recreate a similarly grimy scene from Book 2, Die Trying.
