Pokemon Go fans are slamming the “underwhelming” rewards from Giovanni’s battle, with many calling for Niantic to make some changes going forward.

Team Rocket Go has always been a challenge in Pokemon Go, with many players needing to optimize their team to take down the trickier Pokemon and their trainers.

Giovanni is no different and can pose quite a threat to many fans, especially when looking into Giovanni’s roster – although it’s worth it to get your hands on the powerful Shadow Pokemon, Kyogre.

However, in the recent Kyogre battle, some players are being left reeling, after feeling that the reward was extremely “underwhelming.” Now, those fans are calling for a change to be implemented, to ensure they’re not let down again.

Pokemon Go players call for change to Shadow Raid rewards

Sharing their frustration on Reddit, one Pokemon Go player revealed their catch, a 1-star Shadow Kyogre.

“Still don’t get how these can be 1*” explained the player, going on to say how “they should guarantee a 2* or more for shadow legendaries, don’t you think?”

Players jumped to the comments to agree with the player, with one explaining: “Mine looks even worse… I know it’s still strong but it’s annoying and I feel like shadow legendaries should be better tuned or whatever so you don’t get the 1* short stick.”

Others wondered about the power of such a low-star Shadow Pokemon, with one asking the community: “I have almost identical stats, is it still worth investing?” Interestingly, many highlighted how powerful it is, despite its stars, revealing how it’s “still amazing for raids, regardless of IVs.”

While a lower-star Pokemon can be pretty discouraging for many, it’s always worth exploring the power of the ‘Mon, even if many fans are calling for a higher rating cap on the tricky battles.
