There’s a ton of things to be worried about in Sons of the Forest. Aside from having to gather resources and build shelter to keep yourself safe, it’s likely that you’ll often find yourself constantly watching your back at all times.

As your surroundings get colder during the winter, you’ll also need to keep yourself warm to avoid freezing to death. After all, surely you’d be curious to see what the ending has to offer, right?

Well, one thing that can help you with that is the Winter Jacket. Surprisingly, this comfy jacket is relatively easy to find as long as you know where to look. Here’s how you can get your hands on the Winter Jacket in Sons of the Forest.

How to get the Winter Jacket in Sons of the Forest

The Winter Jacket is tucked near a skeleton inside a tent, located around the Midwest part of the map. This place is close to a massive waterfall and is generally hard to miss once you get to it. For more details, you could check out the map above that’s been marked to help you navigate your way.

In this location, you should be able to spot two bright orange tents close to the body of water with a view of the waterfall. The Winter Jacket you’re looking for is inside the tent closest to the lush trees.

Once you’ve made your way to the tent, simply hover to the Winter Jacket and press “E” to pick it up. And there you go, now the jacket is all yours to use. That should help shed some other things to worry about before things get colder.
