Palworld players being destroyed by early-game boss fight that’s just like Elden Ring
POCKETPAIRPalworld is filled with plenty of deadly Tower Bosses for players to defeat, but it’s this early-game encounter that has the community hyped.
Palworld Tower Bosses pose some of the biggest challenges in the game. Not only do these NPCs have some incredibly strong Pals, but defeating them will reward you with Palworld Ancient Technology points, which can be used to unlock items like the Grappling Gun.
After all, building new Technology will drastically improve both your survivability and ability to capture more Pals. However, it’s the game’s first Tower Boss that is surprising Palworld players, with many loving the challenge she poses.
Palworld players are in love with Zoe and Grizzbolt Tower Boss
Zoe and Grizzbolt are the first Tower Boss players encounter in Palworld, with the pair being found in the Rayne Syndicate. However, despite this dynamic duo being the first boss, their power is nothing to laugh at.
Palworld players have even likened the fight to the likes of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. “She made me realize I’m playing pokesouls,” joked one player. Others noted how her arena looks similar to another FromSoftware game. “Considering the land design looks similar to Elden Ring, it’s not too far off,” replied another commenter.
So far, Zoe and Grizzbolt have been destroying under-leveled players who dare to walk into their arena unprepared. “It was pretty funny,” noted one player. “I went in there at like level 5 thinking I was going to dominate……needless to say, it didn’t go down like that.”
“I went at like level 11-12 with 2 bows and got my ass nuked,” commented one player. “Yeah she’s pretty tough, I ended up not coming back to get until I think level 22-23,” responded another.
It’s not just the challenge of the Zoe and Grizzbolt boss fight that has captivated the game’s community, players have also noted how cool her design is, with one adventurer even noting how they purchased the game for her design alone.
“I bought the game after seeing her because I thought she was a character made in the character creation. Lo and behold my disappointment. The game’s still great, though. Hope outfit mods come quick. Need me some dress up”
Zoe and Grizzbolt use a mixture of ranged electric sniper shots, AoE electrical explosions, and deadly stomps from Grizzbolt. It’s this combination and overall level that can make taking them down rather tricky.
