Glitches are something that can happen from time to time in Fortnite. However, one particular glitch has altered the appearance of one character and left players baffled.

While Fortnite is known as one of the most popular games out there, the game is not immune to glitches. For example, one of the most notable glitches recently is being unable to sprint in LEGO Fortnite.

A while ago, some players were also met with a glitch that stopped them from building, leaving only the character holding the blueprint.

These things can happen occasionally in the game, and while some don’t usually affect everyone, there’s no denying that they can sometimes ruin the experience

Most of the time, they’re just simply annoying to deal with, but recently, one glitch in the game has baffled players due to how “cursed” it is.

One player has shared what Bytes, one of the characters introduced in Chapter 3 Season 4, looked like with the “Mask On” variant after the latest update in a clip.

Instead of showing his regular expression, viewers are greeted with the character’s dislocated jaw. To make things worse, the glitch didn’t go away even after a while, causing the character’s face to remain in the same bugged state.

This discovery, of course, has garnered quite the attention of many other players. One of the top comments said, “Bro had a stroke” to which another replied, “Those are multiple strokes.”

This is what Bytes normally looks like.

Meanwhile, another user poked fun at this situation by saying, “I guess he can’t… Byte?” making a pun out of the character’s name.

“Somebody get this guy some water,” another user chimed in. Aside from the jokes, some players couldn’t help but wonder how this glitch could happen in the first place.

In one of the replies, a different user said that this could likely be caused by a spaghetti code. Like many other bugged skins, this will probably get patched, but for now, it looks like players should just be patient while waiting for a fix.
