TikToker Owala cup trend

An influencer has gone viral after she revealed her prediction of the cups she thinks are set to replace Stanley.

We all know how crazy things got with Stanley cups in January. People’s desperation to get their hands on these coveted cups even led to a man jumping the counter at Target.

But, as we all know, trends come and go, and a TikToker recently took to the platform to share what she thought would be the new trend to replace Stanley cups.

In the video, she weighs in on a theory posted by fellow user Casey Lewis: “Yes, it’s very easy to tell when a trend is dying because every trend will end at some point… Once you see all the moms clogging up stores to get their hands on an item, it’s officially over,” Andra says.

So what is Andra’s prediction? Owala cups. She comments on their fun colors and their ability to keep ice cold, then stating: “The girlies are eating this up, especially the nursing girlies… And these are always the girlies who wanna go for next trends.”

TikTok weigh in on new Stanley cup trend prediction

After the video was posted on the platform, it accumulated over 400,000 views, with people eager to chime in on the influencer’s new trend prediction.

“Nooo! Owala has been my jam for the last 2-3 years. They deffo are better than Stanley, but I don’t want it taken over haha,” one shared.

“Yessss! I’ve had my Owala since the spring and it’s the first ‘expensive’ water bottle I’ve bought,” another said, impressed by the cup.

Some were getting tired of the ever-changing cup trends, writing: “First air up, then Stanley and now Owala. There will always be a trending water bottle.”

One user thought that the Stanley cup trend was far from over, sharing: “Limited edition Stanley’s are still selling for $200+ on Mercari and eBay so I don’t think they’re on the way out tbh.”

Another new cup trend is sweeping TikTok, as Dunkin’ announced the return of their annual Valentine’s cups.
