The Juicy Box is owned by a man named Jacques Sylvestre who had a vision for what he was trying to accomplish. Fortunately, his vision has now become a fruitful reality.

Now that The Juicy Box has been featured in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares on Fox, more people than ever know all about what his restaurant has to offer.

One major detail you might not already be aware of is that this eatery is owned by a hard-working man named Jacques Sylvestre.

The help he received from Gordon Ramsay has been instrumental in moving his company in the right direction. Here’s what you should know about Jacques and the health-centered eatery he owns.

Details about Jacques Sylvestre and The Juicy Box

The reason Jacques decided to open The Juicy Box in the first place is that he wanted to make sure there would be healthy options available to the people in his neighborhood.

According to Black-owned Brooklyn, options for healthy drinks and foods weren’t exactly easy to come by where he lives.

For the most part, The Juicy Box serves vegan and vegetarian dishes. There are also some pescatarian options available on the menu.

Jaques explained his thought process by saying, “I was like, ‘Let me be the first to do it.’ Because I knew it was needed. And I had no doubt that the community would support it.”

He went on to explain the restaurant’s chosen location, saying, “We’re right in the middle of the Caribbean community and the Jewish community, so we wanted this place to be a melting pot.”

According to Reality TV Updates, his parents moved to the United States from Haiti and their Haitian influence is noticeable throughout the entire menu.

Jacques felt inclined to make a difference in his community – and that’s exactly what he did. He also noted that since he was born and raised in Brooklyn, he felt it was his own personal duty to step up in this area.

His heartfelt story makes it easier to root for him and his restaurant. While other Kitchen Nightmares restaurants don’t always survive, it’s great news that The Juicy Box is still thriving.
