MW3 players can finally have a cleaner experience when sifting through weapon attachments after the devs release a long-awaited fix.

Since the release of MW3, the community has been asking for developers to change how attachments are organized in the Gunsmith.

Before, the attachments were all just thrown haphazardly into the same list, leaving players to sift through all of them to find the one they wanted.

That changes now with the update for Season 2 Reloaded, which brings a better way of organizing attachments in the Gunsmith.

The change was first seen when the patch notes for the upcoming update were shared online, promising a ton of changes for the game.

While there were a lot of big adjustments that caught the community’s attention, the clutter fix was quickly noticed by many players.

The fix to the weapon attachment clutter is a simple one: MW3 fans can now filter their attachments by type.

  • Optics: Hybrid, 4x, Thermal, Sniper Scope, 2.5x, Red Dot, Reflex, & Holo
  • Muzzles: Breachers, Flash Hiders, Suppressors, Comps & Brakes
  • Underbarrels: Hand Stops, Undermounted Weapons, Bipods, Vert Grips, & Angled Grips

The fix aims to make the entire process of finding the right attachment much easier for players across the board.

The response to this change has been positive, with one user on the MW3 subreddit sarcastically saying, “Holy crap, Lois, something of value!”

It’s hopefully a small, but useful change, that will help make the game experience much more positive for the user base.
