Joey Swoll successfully got a woman “permanently banned” from a spa for filming a nude patron in a locker room — and he hopes the victim presses charges.

Joey Swoll is known as the internet’s resident ‘good guy’ gym bro, spreading positivity and bringing bad gym etiquette to light on social media.

Swoll has gone viral for naming and shaming gym goers who mock other patrons’ workouts or accuse members of “creeping” on them for simply glancing in their direction, on top of other bad behavior.

The latest achievement from Swoll’s efforts has resulted in one woman getting “permanently banned” from a spa for filming another patron without their consent.

Woman banned from spa for filming nude patron in locker room

Swoll uploaded a video to YouTube on March 5, 2024, where he reacted to a woman’s Instagram story that showed a nude woman toweling herself off in the locker room at a Champneys Spa location.

Swoll claimed that he had to censor the video, as the woman had shared the clip showing the patron’s body in full — something he was outraged by.

According to the bodybuilder-turned-influencer, he contacted the spa, which was named in the woman’s story, and got her “permanently banned” from the facility.

He even shared their text exchange in a screenshot, where the spa claimed they were “absolutely appalled and upset” by the video.

“We definitely do not condone or accept any behavior that puts our guests at risk,” the company wrote. “We are committed to investigating the person in question to ensure the appropriate action is taken so they are not able to enter our properties in the future.”

That’s not all; Swoll also claimed that the spa is working on contacting local authorities about the ordeal… and he “really hopes” the woman in the video “presses charges” against the poster.

“This video really pisses me off,” Swoll said. “Pardon my language, but what the f*ck is wrong with you? How do you not know better than to do this to somebody?”

In another update, Swoll shared more screenshots of his messages with the spa, who claimed they identified the guests who filmed the video and mocked the woman. The company also stated that they reported the incident to police, and are reviewing their policies to ensure such an incident doesn’t happen again.

Swoll added that the woman who’d filmed the video had reached out to him, asking him to remove his post “immediately” – which he answered with a resounding “no.”

This is just the latest gym justice to happen thanks to Swoll’s efforts after he got a woman banned from her gym after accusing a male patron of taking photos of her and calling him a “predator” when he was merely taking a screenshot on his phone to send to his wife.
