League of Legends 2023 rostermania: All LCK & LPL rosters for spring split

Declan Mclaughlin

The League of Legends offseason has come to a close, with teams in the LCK and LPL fully ready for the start of the spring split. Here is everything that went down in the two strongest regions in the world.

As the two strongest regions on the planet, the LCK and the LPL draw a lot of attention in the League of Legends scene, even among Western fans. There was a flurry of activity in the LCK, especially after DRX’s players decided to go their separate ways despite winning the Worlds title in San Francisco.

The big winner of LCK offseason was perhaps Hanwha Life Esports, who, besides landing the DRX duo of Kingen and Zeka, signed Clid from FPX, Viper from EDG, and Life from KT Rolster.

Meanwhile, T1 held on to their entire roster despite rumors linking Faker with other regions, while Gen.G made only two changes to their lineup, promoting academy player Peyz and signing Delight from Brion Esports.

DRX’s Worlds-winning players went in different directions after the Cinderella run

Things were also hectic in the LPL, where there were a number of blockbuster moves, such as Scout’s move to LNG after six years with EDG, and Ruler’s transfer to defending champions JD Gaming. Top Esports also pulled off one of the biggest scoops of the transfer window when they landed Korean mid laner Rookie, a 2018 Worlds winner with Invictus.

Our tracker includes the LCK and LPL rosters for the 2023 spring split, as well as an updated timeline of events. The LPL spring split will begin on January 14, while the LCK will start only four days later, on January 18.
