Logan Paul booed by WWE fans in Perth ahead of Elimination Chamber

Logan Paul has slammed Perth City after flying 30 hours only to be booed by WWE fans ahead of the Elimination Chamber.

As the reigning WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul has come a long way since first starting his career on Vine back in 2013.

However, not all WWE fans are excited to see the vlogger-turned-wrestler take over the sport. Paul found this out after flying 30 hours to Perth, Australia — where he will take on Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, and Kevin Owens during the main event on February 24.

Arriving on stage and crashing Orton’s pre-fight hyperbole, Paul was met with boos by the crowd. This resulted in an unamused Paul unleashing a rant against Perth City.

“I flew 30 hours to get booed?” Paul questioned after the crowd quietened down. “Okay, if that’s the direction you want to go, we can go there.”

Paul then began his tirade against the city, roasting the crowd in the process. He said, “So it’s WWE’s first time coming to Perth and I’m going to personally make sure it’s the last. This place sucks guys. I said when they said we were coming to Perth, I said we gotta be going to Sydney instead. I mean even Taylor Swift went to Sydney instead of this dump.”

While his comments about Perth resulted in further boos, Paul was met with cheers when he mentioned wishing he’d gone to Sydney instead. Evidently, the crowd wished the same.

“I’m serious, you Google the top 10 things to do as a tourist in Perth and No. 1 is go visit an island full of rats. Not so different from you people, huh?” Paul continued, referencing the quokkas found on a small island offshore. “We legit in the middle of nowhere. In the middle of the ocean. I swear, I’d rather be stranded in the middle of the ocean.”

Despite the crowd rallying against Paul, he went on to claim he would be taking home the championship once more and would win the Elimination Chamber.

“I will become double champ. So Perth, consider yourself Logan Paul’s stepping stone,” he concluded, with another round of boos following shortly after.

Whether or not Paul does indeed dominate at the Elimination Chamber, WWE fans will have to wait and see.
