The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is now the highest-rated show in the history of the zombie franchise.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is the latest spin-off series to debut from the beloved zombie franchise. While the flagship The Walking Dead series may have ended in 2022, the franchise is showing no signs of slowing down.

With various spin-offs such as Daryl Dixon, Dead City, and more, The Walking Dead fans are still being spoiled for content. However, of all the previously released spin-offs and ones on the way, arguably the most anticipated show has finally begun airing on AMC.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live brings back Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, the main protagonist of the franchise and one of the most beloved characters of all time.

Fans were devastated after Lincoln revealed he would be leaving the show after season 9, however, they found hope when his on-screen ‘death’ left the door open for the character to come back.

After years of waiting, Rick has finally returned in The Ones Who Live, the new series making waves across The Walking Dead community and receiving major praise from critics across the board.

At the time of writing, The Ones Who Live currently holds a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not only does this make the new series certified fresh but it also makes it the highest-rated show in the whole Walking Dead universe.

For comparison, the flagship The Walking Dead show currently holds a 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Dead City sitting at 80% and the Daryl Dixon spin-off on a 71% critical score.

In addition to a high critical score, The Ones Who Live also holds a 95% audience score, meaning fans of the iconic zombie series are enjoying just as much as critics.

Currently, the first two episodes of The Ones Who Live are available to watch and stream, with new episodes releasing weekly.
