Eli Roth switches gears from bloody horror to sci-fi action with Borderlands, with fans giving the first official movie trailer a thumbs up and even comparing it to Guardians of the Galaxy.

Based on the original video game, Borderlands is a movie that many have been waiting for. Per the trailer, Lilith is back on her home planet not because she wants to. She ventures with a group of outlaws to find a secret treasure hidden in a vault that’s beyond their wildest dreams.

The Borderlands trailer is everything you could have hoped for. Bringing to life the original video games, the movie will prove to be an explosion of color, gunfire, and other world adventure. Since the trailer’s release, fans are now hopeful the movie will do justice. Even the music was on point.

Another agreed that Borderlands has potential thanks to its cast. “Hear me out y’all, this actually looks good. The casting choices for some of these characters are top notch,” they commented.

“Now, this is more like it, Kevin Hart made this look easy, a blockbuster on the way,” said another.
