Peel Screen TV

A woman accidentally broke her TV by peeling the actual screen off, thinking it was protective plastic.

Televisions started to become popular in the late 20th century, and fast forward to modern-day society, you’d be hard-pressed to an find urban household without a Television.

Technology has improved at a rapid rate since the inception of the TV, with companies developing exciting new features like QD-OLED.

However, prices have also increased, so people are usually very careful when unboxing their new Televisions. One woman thought she was also being careful as she peeled off the protective plastic.

Except it wasn’t the protective plastic, she had actually just ripped off the screen.

Woman rips screen off TV in shocking mistake

She shared the video on social media, showing the broken TV and telling viewers how she made the mistake.

“Watch me rip off the screen to my brand new Samsung TV”.

In the video, the woman and her husband proceeded to screechingly tear the entire screen away from the brand-new TV.

“You know when you guys get a new TV, and there is like that little protective plastic on it? […] Well we thought this [the actual TV screen] was the protective plastic because it really looked like that.”

Viewers could not believe what they were watching.

“I’ve had customers do this and it’s so painful to tell them they destroyed their TV”, one commenter who clearly worked in the field said. “Why is it so easy to rip off anyways?” Another person questioned.

Still, despite their blunder, at the end of the video, the woman said that Samsung was kind enough to replace her TV.
