Woman goes viral for breaking down over the difficulty of jeans shopping

A woman has gone viral on TikTok after breaking down over the unpleasant experience of going shopping for jeans.

A woman’s relatable breakdown surrounding the unpleasant experience of jeans shopping has gone viral on TikTok.

Kendahl Landreth took to the social media platform after a shopping trip for some new pants ended with her “sobbing in a strip mall parking lot.”

And it seems her dislike for jeans shopping is shared by many, with the video quickly garnering nearly 1 million views and almost 7,000 comments.

“In my whole life, since I was 12, I have never gone jeans shopping without crying and it’s so crazy,” Kendah began. “I’m the average size and anytime we walk into any store, they act like they’ve never — I’m from space.”

“They’re like, ‘You think we’re going to have sizes for you? No one’s ever been bigger than you, you’re the biggest person who’s ever walked the Earth. How can we have pant sizes for a giant?'” she continued. “And I’m like, ‘What?’ Like, who do you sell clothes to? I’m so confused.”

Kendah went on to explain that while her weight has fluctuated over the years, her experience shopping for jeans has remained the same; “It doesn’t matter the size, they want you to feel like sh**.”

And viewers were evidently in agreeance with Kendah’s assessment, taking to the comment section to share their own horrifying experiences; “I fully sob EVERY TIME. Once I find a pair that fits me, I get a bunch of them and wear them until the crotch disintegrates.”

“Jean shopping is a form of torture,” one person concluded. Another wrote, “I retired from jeans a few years ago. Never been happier.”
