TikToker makes history with most-liked comment ever by joking about GTA 6

TikToker Dylan Page has reportedly achieved one of the most-liked comment ever on the platform after a two month long campaign and its all thanks to a joke surrounding GTA 6.

TikTok and most social media platforms are centered around creators’ posts generating views, comments and likes.

Over the years, this has led to many records being set. Whether it be ‘Baby Shark Dance’ by Pinkfong Baby Shark being the most-viewed video on YouTube or the most-liked tweet ever being posted by the family of Chadwick Boseman to confirm the actor’s death.

Now, Dylan Page has reportedly shattered the record for the most-liked comment on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. The comment posted about GTA 6 has quickly gained over 3.7 million likes.

Dylan Page set out to make history when they posted a TikTok video on December 18, 2023, with the intention to create the most-liked comment ever.

The TikToker urged their viewers to “go into the comments and like this top comment,” which read “Most liked comment about GTA 6 before GTA 6.”

This was to attempt to beat the highest liked comment records across social media, which were claimed to be “3.4 million on YouTube”, “3.5 million on Instagram”, and “3.6 million on TikTok.”

After nearly two months, Dylan Page finally achieved over 3.7 million likes on his comment on February 2, 2024. This has now allegedly became the most-liked comment on TikTok and may just be the highest across any social media platform ever.

With their being no official records of the most-liked comments across social media platforms, then it is almost impossible to confirm if it is the highest liked comment on TikTok or any other platform. Despite this, it is certainly impressive and will likely continue to rise past 3.7 million likes.
