A random customer criticized a woman for purchasing a $1 bag of chips on her credit card.

Credit cards are not only convenient when you don’t have extra cash on hand, but they are also handy when it comes to extra savings.

So when TikToker Jamie used her credit card for a low-cost purchase, she was really using it to acquire incentive savings on her future flights.

However, when the customer behind Jamie saw that she was only buying $1 worth of items with her credit card, the customer was appalled. Jamie later addressed her thoughts about the situation on TikTok.

‘Karen’ customer loudly questions woman about her purchase

Jamie expressed in her now-viral TikTok how the woman behind her in line screeched, “You’re using a credit card for a dollar!?”

Jamie then said that she turned around to face the “nosy Nelly” and told them that she uses her credit card for “everything.”

Walking out with her $1 bag of chips in hand, Jamie was shocked by the nastiness she faced from the ‘Karen’ customer.

She also mentioned in her TikTok why she uses her credit card so often, saying that she was brought up learning that the more you use your credit card, the more points you earn. Those points can then be used to get free things.

Since turning 18, Jamie said she’s been using her credit card for everything, no matter what the cost. She later received enough airline points for free flights as well as an espresso machine, DOC Martens, and more.

Nevertheless, Jamie referred to the customer who criticized her as “silly” for not realizing the benefits of using a credit card.

Viewers of Jamie’s TikTok have since reacted by saying that if you’re “responsible” enough, those credit cards are worth using.

Viewers also asked Jamie what credit card she uses, to which she responded by saying, “RBC Signature Visa.”
