Having a Crystal Tree is one way for your Sim to get Crystals easily. Here’s how to grow a Crystal Tree in The Sims 4.

The Sims 4’s latest stuff pack, Crystal Creations, introduces players to the new Gemology skill, allowing them to craft various Gemstones and Jewelry using the new Gemology table included in the pack. But there’s a catch.

Through Crystals used in these dazzling items, Sims will also receive various buffs that can improve their day-to-day lives. However, acquiring these Crystals requires your Sim to spend money or dig rocks at certain locations, which can be inconvenient in the game

So, if you’re looking for an easier way to obtain them in the long run, you’ll want to know how to grow and use the Crystal Tree in The Sims 4.

Players can design Jewelry using the Gemology Table in The Sims 4.

For starters, the Crystal Tree is a special plant that comes with the Crystal Creations stuff pack. Planting it on your Sim’s lot will produce random Crystals that your Sim can harvest.

However, your Sim needs to reach level 3 in Gemology to unlock its seed. This can be done by crafting using the Gemology table and reading books. You can also always use Crystal Creations cheats to speed things up.

Once you’ve met the skill level requirement, you can craft a Seed-Shaped Gemstone when selecting the “Cut Gemstones” option from the Gemology Table, which costs 100 Simoleons.

Despite looking like a shiny Gemstone, the Crystal Tree seed actually functions like any other seed in the game. To plant the seed, simply drag it from your inventory to the ground, click on it, and select the “Plant” option.

It’ll take a while for the tree to grow, so just be patient and keep checking back occasionally. For the best results, don’t forget to fertilize and water it.

When your Crystal Tree has fully grown, you’ll be presented with several options when interacting with it. Whether harvesting all the Crystals for yourself or selling them for extra Simoleons, the choice is yours!

It’s also worth knowing that you can plant multiple Crystal Trees in the game, so if you have some extra space, it can definitely become a nice passive income for your Sim.
