Lethal Company recreations continue to flood Roblox with Deadly Company

Lethal Company took the gaming scene by storm a few months back, so much so, it’s been recreated in Roblox.

Since its debut in 2006, Roblox has evolved into a massive entity as the metaverse title continues to provide recreations of iconic media. Any game you know of, whether it be Call of Duty or Battlefield, is in Roblox, and chances are, it’s been recreated pretty well.

The latter months of 2023 produced a surprise hit in the form of Lethal Company, a solo developer project akin to surprise hits like Phasmophobia. In it, players must survive against traps and monsters while completing tasks for “The Company.”

As you can imagine, Lethal Company has taken over Roblox, with the latest creation gaining extreme amounts of popularity.

Deadly Company marks another Lethal Company Roblox recreation

Head over to Roblox, search Lethal Company, and the top search will show Deadly Company. It was released in December of last year but has gained immense popularity since then. At the time of this writing, over six million players have dropped into this homage to Lethal Company.

It seems to be the most faithful to date, as it almost faithfully recreates the Lethal Company experience, albeit free. Players still complete tasks and survive against traps and monsters, but it’s in Roblox instead of on Steam.

The Lethal Company subreddit found out about the recreation, and safe to say, they weren’t surprised, although many found humor in the situation.

“Yoo is that the hit game Fatal Corporation,” one player said, which kicked off a chain of a name game for the Roblox recreation. “Terminal Business,” “Final Enterprise,” and “Incompatible with Life Corporation” were just a few of the highlights.

Others reflected on the status of how Roblox players continue to recreate rather than innovate. However, the solo developer of Lethal Company started in Roblox, so that sentiment isn’t entirely fair to the player base.
