The highly anticipated Season 25 of The Voice is set to air on February 26. Here’s everything you need to know about the show’s host, Carson Daily, before starting the new season.

The popular reality TV singing competition, The Voice, premiered in 2011 and featured aspiring singers competing for a record deal.

Viewers loved the show’s concept that let the mentor panel, consisting of John Legend, Dan & Sha, Chance the Rapper, and Reba McEntire, judge the contestants solely based on their vocal talent before actually seeing them.

Before you jump into streaming the new season, here’s everything you need to know about the Award-winning American TV presenter.

Who is Carson Daly?

Carson Daly is among The Voice’s OG faces, since he joined the series during its very first season. As the host, Carson plays a role in maintaining the energy of the show along with providing commentary, interviewing contestants, and announcing results.

Carson’s upbringing most likely influenced his early interest in media and entertainment, considering his father, Jim Daly, was an actor, and his mother, Pattie Daly Caruso, was a TV personality.

Even before joining the show, Carson had been a well-known TV personality and radio DJ, hosting MTV’s Total Request Live in the late 90s.

He also hosted numerous other shows, including NBC’s ‘Last Call with Carson Daly’, a late-night talk show that premiered in 2002 and NBC’s morning show ‘Today’.

Apart from his hosting career, Carson is also an entrepreneur and co-founded a production company named 456 Enterprise & Entertainment in 2017.

In his personal life, Carson is an advocate for children’s health and vocal about his mental health struggles with Genralized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).

You can see more of Carson on The Voice Season 25, which will be made available to stream on NBC and Peacock after February 26.
