Pokemon TCG seller’s “unhinged” comment has fans in stitches

A Pokemon TCG fan was left stunned after receiving a one-word answer. Their request? Looking at the Pokemon card they were bidding on.

Collecting Pokemon cards is tough enough as it is. Buyers have to be on the lookout for fake cards, poor packaging, and dishonest sellers. With that in mind, an obvious first step is to check that the Pokemon card you’re paying for is legit.

So, this buyer made a wise decision and asked to see the back of the card they were buying, hoping to test its authenticity. However, the seller wasn’t having any of it and shot back a “hilarious response.”

Pokemon fans bond over hilarious sellers’ responses.

After not being able to prove the validity of the popular waifu card IonoComrade Lex took to Reddit to share what he described as “unhinged seller behavior.”

A simple question and an even simpler answer. Perhaps it was the inconsequential answer that tickled so many Pokemon fans.

“Yes, they do stink, but at least they get straight to the point,” said one comment.

Some members of the community were unsure if the seller even owned the card in the first place. “The image is stolen, and they don’t own the card to begin with,” quipped one.

Dodgey sellers don’t appear to be uncommon, either. Another fan shared a similar and recent experience they had with an eBay seller; they said it was an “easy pass.”

Other fans weren’t quick to let it go; one went as far as trolling the seller. “I found the listing and asked the same thing,” they said.

Although, in the end, all was well in the world of Pokemon, Lex assured the community that he wouldn’t be buying from the seller and that he wasn’t “even mad” at the comment, as it made him “sincerely laugh.”
