Complete the Halloween special research quickly

Some of these tasks may look a little daunting but they are more time and resource consuming than difficult. For the “Use 108 berries to help catch Pokemon” task you can use multiple berries on one encounter, as long as a PokeBall is thrown in between.

However, if your resource-conscious, and want to save PokeBalls, there is an alternative method. Encounter a Pokemon, give it a berry (let’s be honest it’ll probably be of the Ninab variety) and then run away. You can only do this on different encounters though, as the berry will stay attached if you return to the same one.

Elsewhere, the “Spin eight PokeStops you haven’t visited before” may just be more of an inconvenience than anything else, while the “Catch 108 Pokemon” will be a grind.

The third part of the special research quest couldn’t be any simpler as it is just a case of accepting your rewards. It may not be particularly fulfilling but at least it’s an easy finish.

The Pokemon Go Halloween event will last until November 1, 1 pm PDT/4 pm EDT, and 9 pm BST. You will be able to complete A Spooky Message once the event concludes, however.
