A brand new cruiser board featuring the beloved fire-lizard has been revealed by The Pokemon Company and Bear Walker to an extremely positive reception.

If you had to make a list of fanbases that always go wild for new merchandise and accessories, the Pokemon community would be fairly high up there.

A recent announcement on the official Pokemon X page showcased a new collector’s item that’s got a lot of people talking. It’s an exclusive cruiser board collaboration with Bear Walker and it’s a must-have for Charizard fans who want to add something new to their collection.

New Charizard skateboard has already sold out

The Charizard cruiser board is a truly beautiful item, with a maple wood deck and translucent trucks and wheels. It’s suitable for wall-mounting too, making it an ideal collector’s item.

Unfortunately, many fans have already been hit by the limited stock count for this item.

At the time of writing, the Charizard cruiser board is already sold out on the Pokemon website. A purchase limit of two was put in place for this item initially, but it’s still been snapped up by fans within less than a day of release time.

Not everyone was excited to see this reveal, though. Some fans are feeling burnt out by the amount of Charizard merch that’s been dropping in recent months, with a handful of them asking for Blastoise and Venusaur iterations of the boards.

One fan shared a GIF of the duo asking “where’d my bois go?” and another lamenting “RIP Blastoise and Venusaur”. One Pokemon fan even asked The Pokemon Company to give some other Pokemon a chance to shine and be in the spotlight.

It’s hard to say whether we’ll see any more Bear Walker boards any time soon, but a collection featuring the original trio of final starter evolutions would be likely to go down immensely well with the community. Any sort of niche accessory tends to drum up a lot of hype with Pokemon fans.
