Daedream is one of the most useful Pals during the early stages of the game thanks to a certain item. Check out how to find and catch Daedream in Palworld.

Daedream is a fitting name for a Dark-type Pal with a shiny hair texture and vibrant color palette. Not only is this creature capable of floating and following you around, but with the Daedream Necklace item, progressing through the early stages of Palworld becomes so much easier.

Also, considering you’ll find an abundance of Neutral-type Pals in your early game, the Dark-type Daydream is a must-have if you wish to speed things up regarding expanding your deck. Thankfully, catching a Daedream isn’t as hard as the rarer Kitsun and Quivern.

Still, you need to put a bit of extra effort due to the nature of this Pal. Let’s take a look at how to find and catch Daedream in Palworld.

How to find Daedream in Palworld

You’ll find Daedream roaming around in the wild at night.

Before getting into how you can find Daedream, it’s important to know that this Pal only appears at night. Since it’s a Dark-type Pal, it makes sense to see this creature only roaming around once the sun sets.

You can find Daedream in the default starting area of your world or the Plateau of Beginnings. There’s also a chance that you’ll find Daedream inside dungeons. Thanks to its shiny hair, you shouldn’t have a problem noticing this Pal from afar.

How to catch Daedream in Palworld

Dark-type Pals are generally weak against Dragon-type Pals in Palworld. That said, if you’re just starting out, it’s likely that you have yet to encounter this type of Pal. So, it’s best just to use whatever Pal you’ve caught and chip its health until it’s low.

Make sure to leave some HP behind before you throw your Pal Sphere at the Daedream. Once caught, you can unlock and craft the Daedream Necklace item, which allows the Daedream to constantly accompany you and help you out during battles or dungeon explorations.
