Palworld players are jumping for joy following a new in-game fix that makes destroying your own base much harder to accidentally accomplish.

Palworld has taken over the gaming industry, the new title breaking Steam records and quickly becoming the go-to game to start off in 2024. Despite controversy surrounding the new game in regards to its resemblance to Pokemon, Palworld is filled with content for players to dive right into.

One such aspect of the game that fans have already begun going crazy over is fortifying and building up their base. However, many players may now be finding themselves wanting to move their base of operations after initially picking a spot that is less than perfect.

Setting up a base near resources, rare items and more is an important part of Palworld. After all, traversing through the world to scavenge is less than ideal.

However, one aspect of setting up a base that players have taken issue with is just how easy it can be to destroy your own set up and point of operations. By mistake, of course. With guns and destruction at your disposal, Palworld offers up as much chance for chaos in your base as it does help and fortification.

In light of this, the Palworld dev team recently brought out a fix that makes damaging one’s base harder, an update that players are pleased about.

In a new Reddit thread, Palworld players have been praising the game for modifying bases so that it is much harder to destroy it.

The initial Redditor posted the news, stating, “You no longer blast your base to bits with your weapons now.”

Fellow Palworld players were quick to comment on the thread and express their joy at the news.

“That’s good, a couple of weeks late for my base, but good,” began one Redditor. “The shock of seeing everything falling around me was something else, and the desperate making of a bunch of wooden chests just to fit in my shit because all of my better chest-making ingredients were on the floor.”

Another added, “Oh thank god. Every time a raid starts I’ve been racing to catch them before they get too close. This’ll save so much hassle.”
