Palworld players don’t understand the point of “useless” equipment

The Palworld playerbase is confused about a piece of equipment that doesn’t seem to have any value or benefit over others.

Palworld is full of items and equipment that players can craft to make their base operations more efficient and accomplish more goals.

As they progress through the levels, fans can expect to unlock bigger and better equipment that will continue improving things.

However, the Palworld community is at a loss to figure out just what the point of a higher-end piece of equipment is after finding it to be not much of a help at all.

Palworld fans don’t see a use for one piece of equipment

The discussion about this equipment is happening over on the Palworld subreddit, in a post that is simply titled: “Confirmed.”

The post comes with an image of the Heater from the game, with the word “Useless” printed over it, clearly condemning the item.

The community, in response, sees this as being the truth, with one user saying: “An electric heater should be able to turn the coldest places in the map extremely hot, and its heating capacity should be adjustable so that one electric heater/cooler is enough to reach every single temperature possible.”

A common criticism about the Heater is that it requires a Kindling Pal to maintain its temperature, despite being an electric device.

“Why does the electric heater still need a Kindling pal? Make it make sense.”

What is really bothering the Palworld fans, however, is that you unlock the Heater a decent ways into the Technology Tree, despite the Campfire being given to you at the beginning and being an, arguably, better source of heat.

“It’s stupid because campfire can stack and doesn’t really need to have a Pal. Now, we have electrical things but we need a Pal to do so?”

It’s the same issue with other pieces of equipment like the Fridge, which players wish didn’t need a Pal to run since it’s powered by electricity.

Overall, it seems that the Heater is an item that Palworld fans are ignoring completely, for the most part, and that’s not going to change until the devs tweak it in some way.
