Palworld Boss trick

A Palworld player has uncovered an easy way to take down Alpha Jormuntide for speedy farming. The only problem is, they were trying to capture it.

Palworld’s Palapagos Islands are dotted with highly-coveted Alpha Pals. Large versions of powerful Pals with beefed-up stats that every player wants to get their hands on.

These Alpha Pals function as challenging boss fights that reward lots of experience points. Palworld players have been coming up with unique ways to take them down quickly like 40-on-1 battles and selectively breeding nuclear weapons.

Reddit user u/KingLehmon_III has discovered a new way to take down The Emperor of the Sea Jormuntide with way less hassle. They’re just a little dismayed because they were hoping to add it to their team.

After a minutes-long effort of whittling down Jormuntide’s HP, u/KingLehmon_III accidentally lured it into an unceremonious death by fall damage. Unfortunately for them, Jormuntide scaled one of the rips of the great sea serpent that makes up its lair and plummeted to its doom.

Some Palworld players commemorated and offered their own stories of similar occurrences. “I went to get Jetragon and it randomly decided to drop from the sky,” one Pal Tamer offered in an attempt to console.

Others saw exactly what we did, an easy way to farm a high-level Pal for speedy levels. “What I’ve gathered: Aggravate Jormuntide to get it to follow you, make it climb & fall, profit,” said one industrious player.

It’s also possible that Jormuntide was only killed by the fall because it had already had its HP reduced. This trick might also function as a way to bring it down to catchable health more quickly.

Alpha Pals are much bigger than their normal counterparts.

Alpha Jormuntide is a level 45 boss encounter so it can be a tough customer on the best of days. Usually, you wouldn’t try to take it on until the late game.

More intrepid Pal Tamers at lower levels might be able to slay it earlier if they’re willing to try this new exploit out.
