Lovander in Palworld

Palworld players were sent into a swoon after one fan shared a screenshot of their Lovander & Jolthog “cuddling” while relaxing in the hot spring.

Palworld’s massive success might seem like it was built on little more than a gimmick at first. But for the fans still playing the game of survive and capture on the Palpagos Islands, it’s much more.

Players have been enjoying exploring the game’s setting and are beginning to point out endearing or gruesome tidbits of lore they discover. As well as having fun hypothesizing about how Pals would look with a different Element type or just debating the canon pronunciation of plural Pal names.

One of the game’s latest quirks to charm the community is a pair of “cuddling” Pals, with a player sharing a screenshot of their Lovander and Jolthog relaxing together in the hot spring.

The way the Pals have settled into the tub, makes it look like the pair are hugging one another.

Fans were quick to gush over the shot in the comments.

“The animations in this game are so cute. From when they smile after finishing a job, or Cattiva speeding down the road to get that rock,” one user said in response to the adorable picture.

“Yeah, when I saw people play it the whole ‘Pokemon with guns and slavery’ bit was hilarious but actually playing it is so different. I have spent so many resources making sure they’ve got everything they need,” another agreed.

Other users remarked on the fun the Pocketpair team must have had creating the Pal behaviors; “It seems like the devs really enjoyed making these as every little detail is being looked at.”

Jolthog in PalworldSome fans were worried about whether or not cuddling a Jolthog in water would be a safe activity.

But not everyone was sentimental, with some players playfully questioning the safety of the situation.

“I’m….. I’m not sure you should have a Jolthog in the bathtub,” one joked.

“A Jolthog in a hot spring sounds like it’d have the same effect as a toaster in a bathtub,” another player chimed in. “I think your Lovander might be dead…”
