Open-world survival title Palworld has plenty of stats and ways to upgrade your character, but are you able to respec your character stats once you’re invested?

Palworld has exploded onto the gaming scene in 2024, boasting an impressive 1 million players within the first 24 hours of its existence. The game has not gone without its controversy though, with many players claiming the title plagiarised from Pokemon, so much so that the director came forward to respond.

The game mashes together open-world survival with capturable creatures, making for a time players have loved grinding out and improving their character.

With that being said, here’s if and how you can respec your character in Palworld.

Can you respec your character stats in Palworld?

Fortunately, there is a way to respec your character provided you have the right equipment.

As your character levels up and explores the world available to them, they’ll attain points that they can invest into their various stats. This includes things like carry capacity, damage, HP, stamina, and more.

This can massively improve the quality of life for your character, allowing them to perform feats at a much faster rate, truly reflecting the time you’ve spent in the game.

How to respec your character in Palworld

To respec your character’s stats in Palworld you’ll need to use a Memory Wiping Machine. However, this can only be unlocked when you’re at least level 43, which means you’ll need to play for quite a while before being able to swap your stats around.

In order to craft a Memory Wiping Machine, players will first need to craft an Electric Medicine Workbench, once you’ve crafted that. You’ll need these ingredients in order to create one:

  • 99 Beautiful Flowers
  • 50 Horns
  • 50 Bones
  • 50 Pal Fluids

The item will be consumed when using it, so make sure to spend the reset stats wisely!
