Eminem fans busted into a singalong of the iconic hit ‘Lose Yourself’ during a Rams vs Lions football game.

Upon its release in 2002, Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Many described the track as his best work to date. “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy,” he raps in the iconic opening lines. “There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”

Decades later, ‘Lose Yourself’ has achieved classic status and continues to define an entire era of rap music. Everyone from Kelly Clarkson to Ed Sheeran has covered the song, proving its staying power.

During a recent football game, thousands of fans took it upon themselves to lead a singalong of the song, and it’s a marvel to behold.

Over 65,000 fans sang along to Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’

During the January 14 Rams vs Lions football game, Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ was the center of attention with throngs of adoring fans singing along to the track. Eminem, who was in attendance, cheered on his fans.

In a viral Twitter/X post, sports reporter Ryan Field shared a clip of the experience. “Detroit… stand up!” Field captioned. Screams rang out before the beat dropped in and the opening lines blasted through the speakers. As the song progressed, the enthusiasm grew wilder.

Reactions to the post have been unsurprisingly positive, with many blown away by the special moment.

“No better sports town in America. Love my hometown,” wrote one fan.

“Maybe one of the loudest crowds ever. Was almost impossible listening on radio,” echoed another.

“Phew if that’s what it was like for the verse imagine the Chorus or the Intro,” said Chris Robbins.

Ahead of the game, Eminem implored Rams quarterback Matt Stafford for a favor. “You owe me this favor, bro. I was there for you when you won it. I rapped for you. Can you just let us have this one? Just this one!” he said

When all was said and done, the Detroit Lions beat out the LA Rams 24-23 for the win.
