Megan Thee Stallion is making a comeback following her legal battle with fellow rapper Tory Lanez, releasing her latest song ‘Hiss’ on January 26, 2024.
Hot on the heels of her previous track, ‘Cobra,’ it looks like Megan is fully embracing her inner Medusa, unapologetically unleashing her venom upon her critics and haters.
Hiss, much like Cobra, takes aim at the suffering Megan endured during her feud with Lanez — but where Cobra waxed lyrical about the rapper’s emotions, Hiss is a no-holds-barred, true blue diss track.

Many fans are speculating that Megan took aim at Nicki Minaj and her husband thanks to one particular bar in the song that referenced Megan’s Law, which requires sex offenders to register themselves with the government.
“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law / I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start,” she raps.
It’s worth noting that Minaj’s husband, Kenny Petty, is registered in New York State as a level two sex offender, having been convicted of attempted rape in the first degree in 1995 and serving four years in jail.
Nicki immediately peeped this line and took to social media to air out her feelings in a heated Instagram livestream.
“You have three Grammys and you have to learn how to rap on the beat and be comfortable in the music,” Minaj shouted before launching into an imitation of Megan’s rap style.
That’s not all; Minaj also teased her own diss track toward Megan, which included the bars, “Bad b*tch she like 6 foot, I call her big foot, the b*tch fell off, I said get up on your good foot” — seemingly referencing Megan being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020.
Megan, for her part, doesn’t seem the least bit bothered by Nicki’s barbs toward her, posting a photo of herself laughing on her Instagram stories.
