Kanye West & Russ fans mindblown by “dream come true” collab

After Russ shared a screenshot of Kanye West asking to collaborate, fans of the two artists are preparing for their “dream come true” Kanye feature. 

Kanye West recently released his newest album, Vultures 1. Soon after its debut, Kanye became the first independent artist to become number one on Spotify. 

Russ has simultaneously made waves as an independent artist. With sixteen albums and hundreds of singles, Russ has made a respectable name out of himself and his music in the hip-hop industry. 

Since the two artists are fans of each other, it was only time until they collaborated on a song together. And, after Russ posted a screenshot to his Instagram of a text from Kanye, fans think that collab could be happening sooner rather than later.

Kanye West & Russ fans call collab “legendary”

On February 27, Russ posted a montage of photos to Instagram. While some featured his luxurious travels, there was one picture that stood out to fans.

Captioning his post, “Independent artists unite. What a week. What a life,” Russ fans were in for the ultimate surprise when they saw what Kanye texted him.

In a short exchange between the two artists, Kanye suggested the two collaborate, to which Russ responded, “If you want to talk further I can be in Italy in a couple days. Hit me whenever.”

Kanye then responded, “Actually would be fresh for you to come out here. Independent artist unite.”

Russ then said he’d be flying to see Kanye almost ASAP, “I’m there. Booking flight now.”

After fans heard that the ‘Best On Earth’ and ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ artists were thinking of making music together, they reacted by saying it would be a “dream come true.”

Other comments included nothing short of excitement, “Ye x Russ collab would be incredible. Iron sharpens iron too, y’all would be a great energy match.”

One fan also called the potential collab “legendary,” while another said it would be “fire beyond words.”

Though nothing is confirmed, just the idea of Kanye and Russ working together has fans going stir-crazy. Hopefully, this will come to fruition, and fans will be just as mindblown then as they are now.
