LEGO’s Harry Potter collection is extremely popular among LEGO builders and Harry Potter fans of all ages. There are myriad spectacular sets, especially those that are considered the best LEGO Harry Potter Collectors’ Edition kits. However, the latter sets were designed for adults aged 18 and up. So, what about the kids?

Well, young Potterheads needn’t worry. There’s a host of cool Harry Potter-inspired sets designed for young witches and wizards.

We have rounded up the best LEGO Harry Potter kits for kids. Here’s what you can expect and where you can buy each of them.

Measuring 15.5 inches tall, 15.5 inches wide, and four inches deep, this modular kit features several feature-filled rooms. Up top, you have Hogwarts. Then, down below, you have the eerie chamber to which you can slither in via a slide. In addition, you can open a secret corridor to reveal the Basilisk snake’s hidden entrance. Not only does it comprise the most bricks of any of the new LEGO Harry Potter sets, it’s brimming with neat features. As such, it’s sure to provide kids with an immersive building and playing experience. 

However, if you’re an adult, don’t let the age on the box keep you from grabbing it. Once the build of Hagrid’s Hut is complete, it will look great next to your collection of buildings from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The brick-built hut measures seven inches tall, seven-and-a-half inches wide, and six inches deep. 

You can access the interior by opening the hut or by removing the roof. Peek inside and you’ll notice an array of authentic elements, such as Hagrid’s chair and umbrella stand. There’s also a dragon egg. 

Allowing to you create your own magical moments, several characters are included. There are Hagrid (it is his hut, after all), Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco. The set also ships with figures of Fang, Hagrid’s hound, and Norbert the dragon.

Comprising of 730 pieces, the LEGO Harry Potter The Battle of Hogwarts will provide hours of thrills. The building experience is immersive. However, young Potterheads will be even more thrilled when the kit is completed. 

With this set, you can pick up your want and recreate an iconic scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. But on whose side are you? 

The set includes six minifigures, including Harry and Voldemort, each with a want and spell-casting element. A figure of Nagini is also present. A Sword of Gryffindor accessory is also included. 

The modular castle stands 11 inches tall, 17.5 inches wide, and four-and-a-half inches deep.

Although it’s not really made for play, but rather display, you can always grab a wand and use your imagination.
