ESPN star host Stephen A Smith has said that he’d like to be in GTA 6 after one fan urged Rockstar Games to give him his own radio station in the new game.

The Grand Theft Auto series has always had involvement from mainstream celebrities and references to the real world – some a bit more crass than others. The likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Ray Liotta, Rickie Gervais, Jason Sudeikis, and Burt Reynolds have all voiced characters in previous GTA titles.

So, when GTA 6 was finally announced by Rockstar, it didn’t take long for fans to start speculating about who might turn up this time around. Many have suggested that Joe Rogan should play a part in the new game, especially with his Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Rockstar, naturally, haven’t said too much about who’ll be involved, but there are plenty of celebs who want to try their hand at voice acting in the new title – and that includes Stephen A Smith.

Stephen A Smith wants to be GTA 6 radio host

That’s right, the First Take star has thrown his hat into the ring and wants a part in the highly-anticipated game.

It came on January 27 after one fan urged Rockstar to give the ESPN analyst his own radio station in-game so he can talk about, well, whatever he pleases.

Stephen A took a little bit to respond to that fan’s request, but when he did, he didn’t waste time putting his case forward to the GTA devs. “I do love me some Vice City,” he said, tagging Rockstar himself.

Given his contentious sports takes and ability to talk for, well, forever, Stephen A would make a pretty suitable radio host for Grand Theft Auto – especially if Rockstar decides to parody some of Miami’s teams like the Heat and Marlins in GTA 6.

The ESPN star has also never been shy about his interest in video games either. He’s talked about being a part of Madden and recently revealed his choice for a starter Pokemon. So, get him involved.
