In a since-deleted Reddit post, fans of the Grand Theft Auto series might have been the first to see some new snippets of the long-awaited GTA 6.

It is nearing six years since the last entry in the world-renowned Grand Theft Auto franchise was released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Any new shred of information on a new entry sets the internet ablaze with rumors and speculation as the hotly anticipated title has been kept discreetly under wraps.

In a September 11 Reddit post that was quickly deleted – along with the account that created it – some new screenshots were shared, showcasing what is allegedly GTA 6.

While the internet is quick to jump on any new scrap of information regarding the latest from video game industry titans, Rockstar Games, it is worth bearing in mind that although the screenshots below may seem authentic, do take them with a grain of salt.

The first of the supposedly leaked images highlights a character model from behind. Donning a pair of sunglasses and walking through what appears to be a cityscape, the picture reveals very little about the setting or period of the next GTA game.

In a second post, we see a shot of a cop car in the rain. This one is even more difficult to make out but if real, one can assume the image comes from an in-game cinematic or potentially an upcoming teaser trailer.

Finally, the leaks end with a proper gameplay screenshot. On an airport runway, the image gives us a glimpse at the mini-map as well as a presumably controllable jet aircraft

While the Reddit post was quickly removed, there’s no telling as to just how credible these images might be. Countless leaks have been shut down over the past few months, though that’s not to say that leaks haven’t been accurate in the past.

Rockstar Games often keep their cards close to their chest, releasing trailers and gameplay snippets when they feel ready. But that won’t stop hungry fans from scouring the web for any new information they can get their hands on.

RedditCan the most recent leaks be trusted?

Just recently we saw Rockstar North remove their Red Dead Redemption 2 mural, leading fans to believe that a GTA 6 announcement was drawing near.

It’s only a matter of time before we get official confirmation on the release of GTA 6, until then however, keep an eye on out as we update our tracker with all the latest information.

GreekGodx banned again from NoPixel GTA RP server amid toxicity drama

One of the more infamous figures in NoPixel’s GTA RP server, GreekGodx, has been banned for a second time due to drama surrounding repeated rule-breaking toxicity.

The “Tay Tay Tyrone” saga may be over, as GreekGodx’s now-notorious Grand Theft Auto roleplay character has been banned from the NoPixel 3.0 server. In a clip shared to Reddit, players revealed that Tay Tay would probably not be returning to “the city,” which Greek elaborated on in detail during his own stream.

As it stands, the rationale behind this ban is unclear. What is known is that Greek and the server’s admins discussed the situation and subsequently agreed upon cutting off his involvement for the time being.

This follows numerous incidents in which he was found to violate the server’s rules by repeatedly making other players uncomfortable, despite them asking him to stop. In the most notable example, he was originally banned for constantly calling other characters “thick,” despite complaints.

That original ban was subject to various reactions, including summit1g’s, who found that the appliance of behavioral rules to the server was a tricky situation. He noted some inherent difficulties, namely, ensuring that such rules are applied to everyone and not just high-profile streamers.

As for the new ban, it’s not precisely clear what prompted it — but fans on Reddit seem to believe that it’s due to a general culture clash between Greek’s expectations of the server and NoPixel’s community goals.

During his own February 23 Twitch stream, Greek explored the issue in some more detail: “They’ve put me on ‘cooldown,’ because of the drama and shit. So even if I want to play, I can’t because I agreed on a cooldown.”

So he is banned from the server, but the decision appears to have been amicably settled on and therefore temporary. As for the differences in mindset, he also shared some details on why he feels the server is at odds with his content.

Noting that the behavioral rules make much of the streamed content simply feel like a “Discord call,” Greek explained his wishes for NoPixel’s RP: “I get it: rules are rules. But people need to be a little bit more wild…a little bit more action … It needs to be a little more reckless … a little bit more crazy, to make it a little bit more exciting.”
