Fortnite has rewards for keeping accounts secure, but they may not be what the community wants
Fortnite has announced there are rewards in-game for setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) on accounts, but Reddit users want something better.

On the announcement tweet, Fortnite included a picture of The Visitor skin with a new visor featuring a lock screen promoting 2FA.
But once in the post, some users were disheartened to see that the visor wasn’t the reward. Instead, it was a new emote called “Boogiedown.”

Currently, the The Visitors facemask comes with four styles, a crosshair, a smile, a visualizer and a mandible.
The 2FA style visor may be the sickest of them all:

Featuring a lock screen on the visor, the design looks pretty clean.
For those unfamiliar, two-factor authentication just means that in order to log into an account, the user must confirm the login from another source.

Gmail users will have noticed this recently, as Google now sends a code to the phone number that is associated with the account after entering the password.
For Epic, this could help them increase account security in a fun way, and lessen the headache of dealing with unhappy customers who have lost control of their Fortnite accounts because they didn’t take all the possible precautions.
