Fortnite’s Season 2, Week 5 is now into full swing, and as always, fans of the popular battle royale title have 10 brand-new tasks to take on as the new Meowscles’ Mischief challenge set goes live on Thursday, March 19.

Fortnite’s v12.20 Update officially released on March 17, introducing the new Choppa, a helicopter that can carry your whole squad around the map for easy rotations away from the storm, or to new locations in search of loot or enemies, depending on what you’re after.

Fortnite fans won’t be at all surprised to hear that a new week means new challenges, and Epic Games have dropped another set of 10 tasks in Meowscles’ Mischief, one of the secret agents who make up the Season 2 Battle Pass which is themed around the world of espionage.

Using a Choppa could make this week’s Fortnite challenges easier.

Players will be doing plenty of traveling this week, as they’ll be required to open Chests at Misty Meadows or Salty Springs for the week’s first challenge. While you don’t need to land here to complete it, it will likely be the easiest way to do so, as many others will inevitably drop at these locations, and all the Chests may be gone by the time you make it there should you choose to go somewhere else at the start of the match.

Players will also need to visit Coral Cove, Stack Shack, and Crash Site in a single match without swimming, so vehicles are imperative if you want to avoid dipping your toes in. Using a boat or Choppa will be the easiest way to tick this task off, but you can also try and build your way across the water if you have the materials, although this is a more difficult way, and will leave you exposed to enemies who spy you running across.

You’ll also need to visit one of the five new locations in Fortnite Season 2 The Agency, The Grotto, The Shark, The Rig, or The Yacht to deal damage to Henchmen using a pickaxe, which may also prove difficult should you choose not to land here as opponents will likely drop in these areas first in hopes of knocking one down. You can view the full list of challenges below, which were leaked by iFireMonkey.

Fortnite Season 2, Week 5 Meowscles Mischief challenges

  • Search Chests at Misty Meadows or Salty Springs
  • Eliminate players with Assault Rifles from at least 50 meters
  • Consume fish to gain health or shields
  • Deal 200 damage while using a Creepin Cardboard
  • Survive a fall at least 5 stories high
  • Deal damage to Henchmen using Pickaxes
  • Visit Coral Cove, Stack Shack, and Crash Site without swimming in a single match
  • Kick a soccer ball 100 meters
  • Deal damage to players using Miniguns

Anyone who owns the Season 2 Battle Pass will also be able to take on a brand-new Deadpool challenge, which will count towards acquiring the Marvel character’s skin.

Completing these tasks is definitely worth it if you own the Battle Pass, as each challenge offers 40,000 XP as a reward, which goes a long way towards unlocking new skins and cosmetic items.

How to pull off powerful Fortnite She-Hulk and Ironman “super-jump”

Ali ‘SypherPK’ Hassan has done it again — the Fortnite star has uncovered yet another powerful interactive involving the new Marvel mythics. This time, he’s combined the She-Hulk and Ironman items to pull off a map-traversing “super-jump.”

It seems like a new mythic item is arriving in Fortnite every week during Season 4. The Marvel-themed season has appropriately themed items to go along with it, bringing each hero’s superpowers into the game.

Thor can toss around his Mjolnir, Iron Man can fly around, and well, She-Hulk can smash. Her mythic was added into the game in the latest update for players to muck around with.

She-Hulk’s mythic has finally been added to the main game.

She-Hulk’s smash allows her to jump incredible distances before smashing into the ground, knocking enemies up, and dealing damage. It’s very effective for closing down distances on opponents.

Her mythic is also very good at getting across the map quickly. SypherPK has managed to break Fortnite once again using his favorite combination of tools: Marvel mythics, and crash pads.

If you use the She-Hulk and Ironman mythics while jumping off a crash pad, you’re able to fly basically all the way across the Fortnite island. Obviously it’s a little bit silly, but if you need to make a cross-map rotation pronto, there’s no faster way.

“Iron man, plus Hulk smash jump — you get a really big boost there. Doing it in the water makes you go much further, and once you add a crash pad…it’s really cool,” Sypher said.

Segment begins at 4:54

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:

  1. Deploy a crash pad in water.
  2. Jump in the water, and use the Iron Man Repulsor to jump into the air.
  3. Swap to the She-Hulk mythic, and use that to jump off the crash pad.
  4. Watch as you fly as far as you want across the map.

Obviously, this is probably a glitch. However, that shouldn’t stop you from abusing it whenever you get the chance — either for a bit of fun, or for a real advantage.

Epic is likely to patch it out of the game shortly, so you don’t have long to test it out for yourself. If you do manage to nab both mythics though, give it a whirl, and you might find yourself super-jumping across the map too.
