FaZe Clan professional Fortnite players Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore have won the third running of the KEEMSTAR ‘Friday Fortnite’ celebrity tournament.

The pair beat popular Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Team EnVy’s Fortnite team captain ‘KingRichard’ in an exhilarating, two-match Grand Final, securing the whopping $10,000 grand prize.

Having been relegated to the Losers Bracket after losing in the very first round of the tournament, Tfue and Cloak had to make an improbable and pressure-filled run to make it to the Grand Final.

There they met the Ninja and KingRichard, who on the virtue of winning the Winners Bracket, only needed to win one of two matches to secure the championship.

However, the FaZe Clan duo proved their resilience and determination as they convincingly beat their opponents in the first match, forcing a bracket reset and a winner-takes-all final match.

With momentum on their side, and their eyes on the prize, Tfue and Cloak took care of business, as they won their 10th match in a row overall and brought home the glory of a ‘Friday Fortnite’ championship.

Sponsored by popular YouTube Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem and UMG, the third running of the ‘Friday Fortnite’ tournament on May 25th featured some of the biggest names of the online gaming and content creation communities.

Members of FaZe Clan, Team SoloMid, The Sidemen, OpTic Gaming, 100 Thieves, and a host of other big YouTubers and Twitch streamers such as Ninja, Roman Atwood, Logan Paul, and even Canadian rapper and singer Tory Lanez all competed for a piece of the massive $20,000 prize pool.

Last week’s champions, YouTuber duo of ‘Typical Gamer’ and ‘SoaR Thief,’ were unable to defend their title as they got eliminated in the fourth round of the Losers Bracket.

There was one spell of controversy early on in the tournament, which involved the former champion team of ‘Nickmercs’ and ‘SypherPK’ and their early round opponents – TSM pro player due of ‘Myth’ and ‘Hamlinz.’
