Fortnite Season 7, Week 3 challenges and how to complete them – Ziplines, ski lodges, doorbells and more

Ross Deason

The third week of Season 7 in Fortnite Battle Royale is upon us and the Week 3 challenges went live on Thursday, December 20. Here’s everything you need to know.

Week 3 will once again provide players with three free challenges and four that are exclusive to owners of the Season 7 Battle Pass.

The official Week 3 challenges have now been revealed and are slightly different to the ones that were leaked by a number of data miners prior to them going live.

Epic Games have been known to switch some challenges out at the last minute in the past, so we aren’t surprised to see some changes. With that said, here’s what you’ll be doing this week:

The official challenges for Week 3, Season 7.

The challenges look like they will be fairly straightforward, but there are still some that will have players scratching their heads.

If you couldn’t see the image above, here are this week’s challenges:

Week 3 Snowfall challenge Battle Star location

The ongoing Snowfall challenge for Season 7 returns for Week 3. As always, the clues for completing it will be shown in a loading screen once you’ve completed all of the standard Week 3 challenges.

Once you’ve done that, you can use our guide on how to find Week 3’s hidden Battle Star. Collecting it will grant you a free Battle Pass tier, so it’s definitely worth doing!

Ride a Zipline in different matches

To complete the zipline challenge, all you’ll need to do is ride one in five different matches. Given how many there are all around the map, this should be a fairly simple task.

If you are struggling, though, you can take a look at the map below, designed by ‘Zargothrax’ on Reddit, that shows every single known location.

Stage 1: Land at Lonely Lodge

This challenge is fairly straightforward, but you’ll have to play a few games in order to complete it.

Data miners believe that you will need to land at Lonely Lodge, then Pleasant Park, Lucky Landing, Lazy Links and Tilted Towers in that order. We’ll confirm that with you once we’ve completed all of the stages.

Legendary weapon eliminations

There’s no secret to this challenge – simply kill two opponents using a legendary (gold) weapon of any kind.

Search Chests at Polar Peak or Tomato Temple

Again, no tricks here! Simply search a total of seven chests in one or both of the named locations.

Ring a doorbell in different named locations in a single match

With so many doorbells to choose from, all you really need to think about for this challenge is which locations are closest together and easily accessed without being eliminated.

Perhaps landing at Snobby Shores and moving towards Retail Row would work well.

Search between three ski lodges

One of the classic Fortnite challenges, searching for a hidden Battle Star using cryptic clues, finally returns for Week 3 of Season 7.

You’ll be heading to the iceberg biome for this particular challenge. You can find a full guide, including the location of the battle star, in our search between three ski lodges guide.

Stage 1: Deal damage with shotguns to opponents

We’ll get back to you with all three stages once we’ve had a chance to play through this challenge.

We’ll be updating this post throughout the day with guides and information on how to complete each and every Week 3 challenge. You can also follow @Dexerto on Twitter for everything Fortnite related.
