Epic Games warn Fortnite players about deadly bugged location
Epic GamesEpic Games have warned Fortnite players about a bugged location on the map that’s eliminating anybody who visits it.

The developer revealed its first set of changes to Fortnite Season 8 with the v8.01 patch on March 6, which includes brand new Buried Treasure item. However, they seem to have found an issue already.
Epic sent out an official warning to players jumping into battle royale, encouraging them to steer clear of the ‘Fork Knife’ area.

Buried Treasure was added to Fortnite in Patch v8.01 and players will be hoping the X doesn’t land on Fork Knife.“Beware the Fork Knife!” they tweeted from Fortnite’s official Twitter account. “We’re aware of an issue with players being eliminated when walking around the Fork Knife near Fatal Fields.”

For those that aren’t aware of the location, it looks like two pieces of cutlery and can be seen in the post below.

Epic is already working on a hotfix for the problem and will update the game’s community “shortly”.
In the meantime, it would be advisable for players to drop somewhere else – unless you want to be eliminated, of course.
