Brilliant Fortnite ‘Wind’ LTM concept will literally blow players away
Epic GamesA Fortnite Fan has imagined a new Limited Time Mode concept that will blow players away, quite literally.

The idea, which is labelled as ‘Windy Royale’, was posted to the Fortnite subreddit by user Merfmo. In the post, Merfmo lays out the concept, which is based around balloons and adding a new weather aspect to the game – specifically, wind.
With Merfmo’s idea, players would have infinite balloons at their disposal and would be blown from circle to circle by the wind.

With the concept, once players began in the circle, they would have their view affected by the weather. However, there could be benefits to the extreme conditions – with the wind potentially giving players more flexibility with their movement.
Movement could also be negatively affected by the wind with players being slowed down by powerful gusts.

Epic Games have already shown their willingness to add fan-created content to the game. The ‘Tender Defender’ skin began life as a young fan’s creation on Reddit and after some touching-up from a graphic designer, made its way into the Battle Royale game.
However, the additions are rare and all Limited Time Modes have come from Epic themselves, so, despite however creative the idea may be, it’s unlikely we see it in the game anytime soon.
