Walmart employee reveals “f**ked up” way their donuts are made

A Walmart employee went viral after they exposed how the supermarket’s donuts are really made.

One of the best things about a shopping trip to Walmart is visiting the baked goods section, and picking up a fresh sweet treat to chow down on.

The store’s donuts are undoubtedly one of the most popular items in the section, but after a video was posted on TikTok showing how they were made, people are rethinking their choices.

In the clip, which appears to be inside a Walmart kitchen, we see donuts which have been piled into cardboard boxes, sealed with plastic.

“Walmart donuts are not fresh. They order plain yeast donuts in bulk and store them in freezers,” the voiceover says.

TikTok weigh in on Walmart donuts

After the video was posted on the platform, people couldn’t wait to weigh in and share their thoughts surrounding the Walmart donuts.

Some people were clearly unimpressed, writing that it was “f**ked up,” after seeing the video.

Another was confused by the appearance of the donuts, asking “why they wet?”

Many, however, didn’t seem to care about the donut making process, and were even baffled that some thought they were fresh:

“Did anyone really expect Walmart employees making fresh donuts in the back? They taste frozen.”

“Okay and? What was the point of this? Walmart isn’t a doughnut shop. Get back to work. You’re 10 mins over your break,” another said.

Some even claimed that major donut chains used frozen donuts, writing: “This is exactly how Dunkin’ Donuts makes theirs lol.”

Another Walmart worker went viral, when they called out customers for “scamming other shoppers.”
