Marcos Llorente’s FIFA 20 Ultimate Team starting XI revealed

Atletico Madrid’s Marcos Llorente has had his entire FIFA 20 Ultimate Team revealed, with Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk and others forming his dominant side.

The Spanish midfield player has featured frequently in Diego Simeone’s team during this season, scoring most recently against Valencia in a 2-2 draw at the Mestalla, although in between big matches it appears he finds enough time to play on EA SPORTS’ popular football title as well.

After being hit with the shock of matching up against Llorente in an online match, one of his opponents has taken a screenshot of his team and posted it to the FIFA subreddit – showing fans how his lineup stacks up against theirs.

Marcos Llorente previously played for Real Madrid, before securing a move to rivals Atleti in June.

Other professionals have had their whole Ultimate Teams revealed in recent months, including Virgil van Dijk, who Llorente will likely match up against when Liverpool and Atletico match up in the Champions League knockout stages. The two legs of the Round of 16 will take place on February 18 and March 11.

It will come as no surprise to see the big Dutchman included in Llorente’s team as well, with his base 90 card proving to be one of the most popular players in the FIFA 20 game mode.

Kieran Trippier might be getting called Wayne Rooney everywhere he goes in Spain, as reported by the Guardian, but unfortunately an attacking position isn’t quite his natural habitat and his teammate has instead opted to have him lock down the right back role instead. Let’s take a look at the team in full below.

Marcos Llorente’s FIFA 20 Ultimate Team

  • GK: David de Gea (90)
  • RB: Kieran Tripper (85)
  • CB: Paolo Maldini (92)
  • CB: Virgil van Dijk (90)
  • LB: Gianluca Zambrotta (87)
  • CM: Lothar Matthaus (91)
  • CM: Socrates (89)
  • CAM: Marcos Llorente (99)
  • LW: Eden Hazard (92)
  • ST: Ronaldo (94)
  • RW: Lionel Messi (94)

There’s no doubt that this is yet another star-studded Ultimate Team, bringing together top players from the current generation such as Messi, Hazard, and blending them with the riches of the past – with the likes of Maldini, Zambrotta, Matthaus, and others featuring.

While ‘KEIDI FC’ might have some real firepower up front, which should score goals against the best of teams, it’s nice to see some emphasis on strong defenders as well. So, do you think you could take him on with this Ultimate Team at his disposal?
